Refund policy
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
Last updated: 14 September 2026
At Grunjoub, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Return & Refund Policy explains your rights, how to cancel an online order, how to return an item, and how refunds are handled.
This policy applies to purchases made through Grunjoub.store and does not affect any statutory rights you may have under UK consumer law.
For any questions regarding a return or refund, please contact us at:
Email: contact@Grunjoub.store
Website: Grunjoub.store
1. YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS
Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any rights available to consumers under applicable UK consumer law.
Goods supplied by Grunjoub must, where legally required:
-
be of satisfactory quality;
-
be fit for their intended purpose;
-
match their description;
-
correspond with any sample or model where applicable; and
-
comply with any other statutory requirements applicable to the sale.
Your statutory rights apply in addition to any voluntary return rights that may be offered by Grunjoub.
2. RIGHT TO CANCEL AN ONLINE ORDER
Where the statutory cancellation right applies, you may cancel your purchase without giving a reason.
You must inform us of your decision to cancel within 14 days after the day you, or a person nominated by you, receives the goods.
Where a single order contains several items delivered separately, the cancellation period will normally run from the day after you receive the final item covered by that order, where required by applicable law.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must make a clear statement informing us of your decision.
You can contact:
Your cancellation request should preferably include:
-
your full name;
-
your order number;
-
the email address used for the order;
-
the item or items you wish to return; and
-
a clear statement that you wish to cancel the purchase.
You do not need to provide a reason for exercising your statutory cancellation right.
3. RETURNING GOODS AFTER CANCELLATION
Once you have informed us that you wish to cancel, you must send the goods back within 14 days.
Please contact contact@Grunjoub.store before sending a return so that we can provide the appropriate return instructions and return destination.
Please do not send products to an address shown on a shipping label without first following our return instructions, as the original dispatch location may not be the appropriate returns facility.
You are responsible for ensuring that returned goods are securely packaged.
We recommend using a tracked postal or courier service and keeping proof of postage until your refund has been completed.
4. CONDITION OF RETURNED ITEMS
You may inspect and handle an item only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, in a similar manner to what would reasonably be permitted in a physical shop.
For clothing, this generally means that you may carefully try the item on.
You should not:
-
wear an item for extended use;
-
wash or alter the item;
-
remove or damage essential labels unnecessarily;
-
stain or damage the item;
-
expose the item to strong odours, smoke, cosmetics or other substances; or
-
handle it beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it.
Where permitted by law, we may make an appropriate deduction from the refund to reflect any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
This does not affect your rights where an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
5. RETURN COSTS FOR CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS
Unless Grunjoub agrees otherwise, customers exercising the statutory cancellation right because they have changed their mind may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where this has been properly communicated to them before purchase.
Any applicable return costs will be communicated in accordance with UK consumer law.
If an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fails to meet the requirements of applicable consumer law, Grunjoub will bear reasonable return costs where legally required.
6. REFUNDS AFTER CANCELLATION
If you validly cancel your order, we will refund the payments we are legally required to reimburse.
For goods that are returned following cancellation, we may withhold the refund until:
-
we have received the goods back; or
-
you provide satisfactory evidence that you have sent the goods back,
whichever occurs first, where permitted by law.
Once the applicable condition has been met, the refund will be processed without undue delay and within the statutory period required by UK law.
7. ORIGINAL DELIVERY CHARGES
Where the statutory cancellation right applies, we will refund the standard outbound delivery charge you paid, where required by law.
If you selected a delivery method that was more expensive than the least expensive standard delivery option we offered, we are not required to reimburse the additional amount paid for the premium or expedited service.
For example, where both Standard and Express Delivery are available and you voluntarily select Express Delivery, any refund of the outbound shipping charge may be limited to the equivalent Standard Delivery cost.
8. METHOD OF REFUND
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree otherwise.
You will not be charged a fee solely for receiving a refund where such a fee is prohibited by law.
Processing times after we issue a refund may vary depending on your bank, card issuer or payment provider.
Any banking processing period is separate from the time taken by Grunjoub to issue the refund.
9. FAULTY, DAMAGED OR MISDESCRIBED GOODS
If your item is:
-
faulty;
-
damaged;
-
not as described;
-
not of satisfactory quality;
-
not fit for its intended purpose; or
-
otherwise non-compliant with your statutory rights,
please contact us as soon as possible at:
Please provide your order number and a description of the issue. Photographs may help us investigate the matter more quickly, although requesting photographs will not be used to remove or improperly restrict your statutory rights.
Your legal remedies may include, depending on the circumstances:
-
rejection of the goods and a refund;
-
repair;
-
replacement;
-
a price reduction; or
-
a final right to reject the goods.
10. 30-DAY SHORT-TERM RIGHT TO REJECT
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, consumers may have a 30-day short-term right to reject goods that do not conform to the contract.
Where this statutory right applies and is properly exercised, you may be entitled to reject the goods and receive a refund.
The statutory rules relating to faulty goods are separate from the 14-day cancellation right that normally applies to distance purchases.
11. FAULTS DISCOVERED AFTER 30 DAYS
Where a fault is discovered after the short-term right to reject has expired, you may still have statutory rights.
Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to request a repair or replacement.
Where repair or replacement is impossible, unsuccessful, disproportionate, or cannot be provided within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may have further rights to a price reduction or to reject the goods in accordance with applicable law.
12. GOODS WITHIN SIX MONTHS OF DELIVERY
For certain consumer remedies, where a fault becomes apparent within six months of delivery, UK consumer law generally presumes that the fault existed when the goods were supplied unless the trader can demonstrate otherwise, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
This does not apply to damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, normal wear and tear or circumstances for which the consumer is responsible.
13. CLAIMS AFTER SIX MONTHS
Consumer rights do not necessarily end after six months.
However, after the relevant six-month period, the consumer may generally need to demonstrate that the fault existed, or had an underlying cause, at the time the goods were supplied.
Applicable limitation periods and remedies depend on the circumstances and the part of the United Kingdom in which a claim is brought.
Nothing in this policy restricts rights that cannot legally be restricted.
14. INCORRECT ITEMS
If we send you an item that is different from the item you ordered, please contact:
Please include your order number and details of the item received.
Where Grunjoub is responsible for sending an incorrect item, we will provide an appropriate remedy and cover reasonable return costs where required.
15. ITEMS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT
If your order appears to have been damaged during delivery, contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide:
-
your order number;
-
a description of the damage;
-
photographs of the product where reasonably possible; and
-
photographs of the packaging where relevant.
Your statutory rights are against Grunjoub as the retailer and are not removed simply because a third-party delivery company transported the order.
16. LOST OR MISSING ITEMS
If your parcel has not arrived or an item is missing from your order, please contact:
We will investigate the delivery and, where we remain responsible under applicable consumer law, provide the appropriate remedy.
17. RETURN EXCEPTIONS
The statutory right to cancel may not apply to certain types of goods.
Examples can include:
-
goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised;
-
goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
-
sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons where the seal has been broken after delivery;
-
sealed audio, video or computer software where the seal has been broken;
-
newspapers, periodicals or magazines, subject to applicable exceptions; and
-
other products excluded from the statutory cancellation right under applicable legislation.
An exception to the change-of-mind cancellation right does not remove statutory rights where goods are faulty, misdescribed or otherwise legally non-conforming.
18. HYGIENE-SENSITIVE PRODUCTS
Where Grunjoub sells sealed products that cannot reasonably be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons, the statutory cancellation right may cease once the relevant seal has been broken after delivery.
This exception will only be applied where permitted by law.
It does not remove your statutory rights where the product is faulty or otherwise fails to conform to the contract.
19. PERSONALISED OR CUSTOM-MADE PRODUCTS
Goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right.
Where such an exclusion applies, this will not affect your statutory rights if the product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
20. SALE AND DISCOUNTED ITEMS
Purchasing an item in a sale, promotion or at a discounted price does not remove your statutory consumer rights.
If a discounted item is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract, you retain the rights provided by applicable consumer law.
Change-of-mind returns for online purchases remain subject to the applicable statutory cancellation rules and any lawful exceptions described in this policy.
21. EXCHANGES
If you would like a different size, colour or product, please contact us at:
Where an exchange is available, we will provide instructions.
An exchange procedure does not replace or restrict any statutory cancellation or refund rights.
Availability of replacement products is subject to stock.
22. PROOF OF PURCHASE
We may reasonably request evidence that the product was purchased from Grunjoub.
Appropriate evidence may include:
-
an order confirmation;
-
an order number;
-
payment confirmation;
-
a bank or card statement; or
-
other reasonable evidence of purchase.
A particular form of receipt will not be required where another reasonable form of proof establishes that the goods were purchased from us.
23. RETURNING GIFTS
Statutory contractual rights will generally belong to the person who entered into the purchase contract with Grunjoub.
If you received an item as a gift and require assistance, contact us and we will explain the options available.
24. REFUSED OR UNCOLLECTED DELIVERIES
Refusing delivery or failing to collect a parcel does not necessarily constitute a valid exercise of your statutory cancellation right.
If you wish to cancel an order, you should clearly notify us at:
Any refund or reshipping arrangement for refused, unclaimed or incorrectly addressed parcels will be handled in accordance with the contract and applicable law.
Your statutory rights will not be unlawfully restricted.
25. CANCELLING BEFORE DISPATCH
If you wish to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible at:
If cancellation is possible before dispatch, we will cancel the order and arrange the applicable refund.
If the order has already entered the shipping process, you may need to receive the goods and follow the applicable cancellation and return procedure.
26. ORDER CHANGES
We cannot guarantee that an order can be amended once it has been placed.
If you need to change a size, colour, delivery information or another order detail, contact:
as soon as possible.
If the change cannot be made, the applicable cancellation and return rights remain available where required by law.
27. RESPONSIBILITY FOR RETURNED GOODS
When returning an item yourself, you should package it appropriately to prevent avoidable damage during transit.
Where you are responsible for arranging a change-of-mind return, responsibility for the parcel may remain with you until it reaches the relevant return destination, subject to applicable consumer law.
For this reason, we strongly recommend keeping proof of postage and using a tracked service.
28. PROMOTIONAL OFFERS AND MULTI-BUY ORDERS
Where goods were purchased as part of a promotional offer, bundle, multi-buy promotion, free-gift promotion or similar arrangement, the amount refundable may take account of the terms and value of the promotion, provided this is done fairly and in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Any calculation will not be used to deprive a customer of statutory rights or a refund to which they are legally entitled.
29. REFUNDS TO GIFT CARDS OR STORE CREDIT
Where the original purchase was made using a gift card or store credit, any refund may be returned to the relevant gift card or store-credit balance where permitted.
Where the original purchase was made using another payment method, we will not substitute mandatory statutory refunds with store credit without the customer's agreement where the law requires a monetary refund.
30. FRAUDULENT OR ABUSIVE RETURNS
Grunjoub reserves the right to investigate suspected fraudulent activity, including returns involving products that were not purchased from us or deliberate attempts to misuse the returns process.
However, this provision will never be applied in a way that unlawfully restricts legitimate statutory consumer rights.
31. COMPLAINTS
If you are unhappy with how a return or refund has been handled, please contact:
Please provide your name, order number and a description of the issue.
We will endeavour to investigate complaints fairly and provide an appropriate response.
Nothing in this complaints procedure prevents you from exercising any rights or remedies available under applicable UK law.
32. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Return & Refund Policy from time to time to reflect:
-
changes in applicable law;
-
regulatory guidance;
-
changes to our services or operational processes; or
-
improvements to our customer procedures.
The version published on Grunjoub.store at the relevant time will show the latest revision date.
Changes to this policy will not retrospectively remove statutory rights that have already arisen.
33. GOVERNING CONSUMER RIGHTS
This policy is intended to operate consistently with applicable UK consumer protection legislation, including, where relevant:
-
the Consumer Rights Act 2015;
-
the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013; and
-
other applicable UK consumer protection legislation.
Where any provision of this policy conflicts with a mandatory consumer right, the mandatory legal right will prevail.
